Over the past four years at Flyline Search Marketing, headquartered
in Atlanta, Georgia, we have worked on perfecting our gym marketing program and
fitness club marketing program.
Through trial and error, the marketing strategy
that we use to promote fitness orientated places of business has evolved into a
proven formula for success for many fitness clubs and gyms in Atlanta and

The Three-Part Gym Marketing Process
Although there are many steps, but our marketing program for
promotion of gym and fitness centers, it can be divided into three main parts. The
first part to success was solving what we call the “Lead Generation Challenge.”
Part 1: Lead Generation
Because of the state of the economy, many businesses have
taken a major hit and many more have gone under. People are much pickier when
choosing who to give their hard earned money to, and they want to be sure they
are getting the best deal.
With our market strategy in place, we can effectively show
potential customers all aspects of a fitness club with various ad campaigns all
made possible with the Google AdWords platform, which provides effective targeting
and maximizes the advertising dollars of our fitness club clients.
Part 2: Target
Audience Awareness
Then, the challenge was to increase the target audience’s
awareness of the Anytime Fitness center. We addressed this challenge by
leveraging the power and popularity of social media marketing, including Facebook,
YouTube videos, and Twitter.
Not only does it reach the intended audience, but it also
provides an easy way for that audience to virally share their awareness of the fitness
club with friends, family, and colleagues.
Part 3: Organic
Placement
Finally, we worked on organic placement. This was one of the
most complex parts of the process and included numerous steps, including the
creation of a website and implementation of various SEO tactics.
We also created a company blog and implemented an Internet
press release system that offers all types of fitness tips and makes readers
aware of the latest specials at the gym.
